Jordan

Piano

Playing in the third-grade orchestra hooked Jordan on a lifelong journey with music, particularly classical music. His love for performance, composition, music theory, and the history of music is what he aims to give each of his students. He is currently a rising senior studying composition with Dr. Stuart Folse and piano with Dr. Jana Pavlovska at the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University. In his 5-plus years of teaching, he has delighted in seeing students grow from beginners to musicians capable of learning and playing music on their own. Jordan loves getting to know his students as people and musicians and believes this is key in creating an individualized approach to teaching. He is excited to share his enthusiasm for the piano with students and help them develop the skills they need to achieve their musical goals.

“Music in itself is healing. It’s an explosive expression of humanity. It’s something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we’re from, everyone loves music.”
- Billy Joel
