Voice and guitar teacher Brian takes an individualized approach to teaching, ensuring each lesson meets the unique needs and goals of his students. He emphasizes a growth mindset, combining strong technical and theoretical foundations with creativity and exploration. Known for building meaningful rapport, Brian meets students where they are in their musical journey, ensuring that no two lessons are ever the same.

Brian has performed with organizations such as Grant Park Chorus, Thompson Street Opera Company, Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Company, Folks Operetta, and Otherworld Theatre. As a pianist, he has worked with Chicago Fringe Opera, iO Theatre, The Annoyance Theatre, and Otherworld Theatre, where he also serves as Director of Music. In addition to teaching and performing, Brian is an accomplished composer, having written the original score for Twihard: A Twilight Musical Parody, which enjoyed a two-year run, including performances at the Apollo Theater and 54 Below in New York.

He teaches piano across all genres and voice with a specialty in musical theatre and classical styles. Brian holds a Bachelor of Music Education from the University of South Dakota (2015) and a Master of Music in Voice from Roosevelt University (2021).
